Karen Mannheimer

Karen enjoys working with all levels of players and helping them improve. Karen grew up on the tennis courts in San Antonio. She went to school at Harmony Hills Elementary, Eisenhower MS and Churchill HS. She is a former state ranked Texas junior player. When she played at Churchill her team won 3 state team championships. Karen went on to play Collegiate Tennis at Texas Tech. She been teaching professionally since she graduated from Tech. Karen received the Lloyd Sessions Educational Merit Award in teaching tennis with SATA and the with the USTA Texas Section. She was also named the Express-News Woman of the Year in Sports in 1993. Karen brings positive encouragement and a logical progression that makes learning easy.

Scott loves tennis and has been teaching professionally for over 25 yrs in San Antonio. He is a Holmes High School graduate where he was a local tennis standout. He went on to play Collegiate Tennis at the University of Hawaii. Lucky him! Whether you are beginner or a junior national tournament player, Scott has a talent to pinpoint what you need. Scott's live ball drills, point play situations, ladder sequences and fitness training will help you attain your goals.

Scott is married and has 2 tennis playing girls. Brittney & Brianna are both state ranked and play competitively in USTA state & national tournaments. Brittney is playing at Wofford University where she received a tennis scholarship.

Robert Mojica is a USPTA Tennis Professional. He has been teaching tennis in San Antonio for over 12 years. He grew up playing tennis in San Antonio, where he played on the Churchill High School tennis team as a teenager. He graduated from UTSA where he received a BA in Business Marketing. 

Robert's creative energy makes learning fun. He has a passion for teaching and a commitment to his clients success. No matter your level of experience, Robert will help you reach your goals! 

When Robert is not on the court he can be found at the UTSA Roadrunner football games or court side at the Spurs!

Elly Motloch

Elly's tennis background started in Dallas, Texas where as a junior she became a high ranking SuperChamp.  She won state in doubles her junior year at Highland Park High School. Her senior year she trained and lived at Newcombe's. She signed with University of Northern Colorado and transferred to Midwestern State University to complete her degree in psychology.

She been teaching a little over a decade, while also competing in the Women's Open division. She was ranked #1 in both singles and doubles in Texas and was awarded player of the year by the USPTA, before she set sail to teach in Hawaii for 6 years. In her free time she enjoys training and competing in Triathlons. When she's not on the court, or swimming, biking and running, her two huge lap dogs, Bill and Charlotte, like to have her home!

Jacob is from El Paso, Texas. He currently plays tennis for Our Lady of the Lake University. Jacob has held sectional rankings in the Southwest Section and has taught in numerous summer camps. He is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and plans on using that degree to give his clients a memorable on and off court experience. Jacob's passion, work ethic, and outgoing personality makes him a great teaching pro.

Brenda is the Club Manager and assists with our daily accounting of our programs. She also coordinates our SAPTA & USTA teams, directs our In-house adult leagues, assists with program relations, and membership. Brenda's friendly and outgoing personality make it easy to talk to her. Please contact Brenda for and questions or issues you may have with our facility or programs.
