Karen Mannheimer

Director of Tennis

Karen grew up on the tennis courts in San Antonio. She went to school at Harmony Hills Elementary, Eisenhower MS and Churchill HS. She is a former state ranked Texas junior player. When she played at Churchill her school team won 3 state team championships. Karen went on to play Collegiate Tennis at Texas Tech. She been teaching professionally since 1985. Karen received the Lloyd Sessions Educational Merit Award in teaching tennis with SATA and the with the USTA Texas Section. She was also named the Express-News Woman of the Year in Sports in 1993.

Scott Wilbur

Scott loves tennis and has been teaching professionally for over 28 yrs in San Antonio. He is a Holmes High School graduate where he was a local tennis standout. He went on to play Collegiate Tennis at the University of Hawaii. Lucky him! Whether you are a beginner or a junior national tournament player, Scott has a talent to pinpoint what you need. Scott’s live ball drills, point play situations, ladder sequences and fitness training will help you attain your goals.

Scott is married and has two daughters. Brittney & Brianna who both play tennis. Brianna currently plays ttennis at Wofford University where she received a tennis scholarship. Update: Brittney graduated from Wofford University where she played on tennis scholarship.

Robert Mojica

Robert Mojica is a USPTA Tennis Professional. He has been teaching tennis in San Antonio for over 12 years. He grew up playing tennis in San Antonio, where he played on the Churchill High School tennis team as a teenager. He graduated from UTSA where he received a BA in Business Marketing.

Robert’s creative energy makes learning fun. He has a passion for teaching and a commitment to his clients success. No matter your level of experience, Robert will help you reach your goals!

When Robert is not on the court he can be found at the UTSA Roadrunner football games or court side at the Spurs!

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Flint

Lizzie Flint

Tennis Coach

Lizzie started playing tennis at age 4 on the courts of Whispering Oaks. She attended St. Matthew’s Catholic School and Colonies North for Elementary, Hobby MS, and Clark HS. At Clark she played all four years on the varsity team, playing #1 doubles and singles her senior year. She was also very active in USTA tournaments and achieved Super Champ level in 14s, 16s, and 18s as Karen Manheimer and Scott Wilber as her coaches.

Lizzie went on to play the collegiate level at Austin College where she received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology. All four years she was an active player on the Women’s tennis team, playing #1 doubles and singles her Jr. and Sr. years as well as being Captain.

Lizzie is so excited to be back on the courts where her tennis career began working side by side with coaches that made her the player she is today. She’s prepared to share her love and knowledge with future tennis players. We are happy she’s back on her home courts!

Ksusha Johnson

Ksusha is from Moscow where she was ranked 46 in the Country. As a junior she helped her team win third place at the National Team Championships in 2005. The same year she qualified to earn her Semi-Pro card at the young age of fourteen.

Ksusha played #1 singles and doubles for Southern Utah University. She set college records and Earned All-Summit League honors 4 consecutive years in a row. She graduated with a degree in Physical Education, teaching and coaching with a minor in health.

For the past eleven years she has been coaching tennis to children and adults of all ages and levels. She has a solid methodology that guarantees wellness, fun and learning.

Olivia Battye

Olivia Battye is origianlly from Liverpool, England. She came over to the States on a Division 1 Tennis scholarship to play at Sam Houston State. She began playing tennis aged 4, and her passion and drive for the sport led her to represent Great Britian on the junior circuit, enabling her to travel around Europe! For three summers she coached at a Tennis Academy in Philadelphia while completing her Undergraduate Degree. She played at the top of the line up in College and I was hired to be the Assistant Coach while she completed her Master’s Degree. Olivia is extremely passionate about the sport and her hope is that she can instill her passion onto those she coaches. She enjoys working with all levels and ages, and each lesson is adapted to meet the needs of the individual. She uses different methods of instruction such as hands on teaching as well as visual. She brings positivity, enthusiasm and fun to each lesson!

Keen Niedzwiecki

Keen has been teaching all her life in one form or another. She retired from Northside Independent School District where she was a school teacher and counselor for 38 years. Keen is also a former Sister of Divine Providence where she served for 30 years.

Her passion for teaching children and love of the game of tennis makes her an perfect Coach for our 8 and under kids.

In-House League Coordinator

Brenda is the Club Manager and assists with our daily accounting of our programs. She also coordinates our SAPTA & USTA teams, directs our In-house adult leagues, assists with program relations, and membership. Brenda’s friendly and outgoing personality make it easy to talk to her. Please contact Brenda for and questions or issues you may have with our facility or programs. We are excited to have her as part of The Tennis Park staff.
